Terms of Service

infocard is operated by Tara Loka, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using infocard.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

What the Service does

infocard fetches and renders markdown files from public GitHub repositories. It provides a profile viewer and search index for developer resumes. The Service is free to use and requires no account.

Your content

You own your content. Your resume lives in your GitHub repo. We don't claim any ownership or license over your content beyond what's necessary to operate the Service (fetching, caching, rendering, and indexing your public data).

By publishing an infocard.md file in a public GitHub repo named infocard, you authorize us to fetch, cache, render, and index that content for display on infocard.ai and in search results.

To remove your content from the Service, delete or rename your repository or file. Cached data expires within 5 minutes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to publish illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service beyond normal browsing
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the Service's infrastructure
• Use the Service to distribute malware or malicious code via markdown content

We reserve the right to remove profiles or block access for violations of these terms.

AI-generated content

The Service uses AI (Cloudflare Workers AI) to automatically extract skill tags from resume text. AI-generated tags are labeled as such and may not be perfectly accurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated tags.

Third-party services

The Service relies on:

• GitHub — for fetching public repository content (GitHub Terms)
• Cloudflare — for hosting, caching, database, and AI processing (Cloudflare Terms)

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cached content will be current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tara Loka, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
